ATLANTA — The Georgia Council for the Arts, in partnership with the Department of Economic Development, recently released their first video about Georgia arts.  The Rylander Theatrein Americus is featured in the video and is listed in the credits. The video is narrated by Tony Award-winning Director Kenny Leon (who calls Atlanta home) and features arts organizations throughout the state.
The purpose of the video is to educate and inspire citizens statewide to connect with their local arts community, get to know the works of Georgia artists, and support the dynamic work being done around the state.
Heather Stanley, managing director of the Rylander Theatre said, “With the majority of the featured organizations being in the metro Atlanta area, it is an honor to represent Southwest Georgia in this impactful video.”
