SHELLMAN — Anthony Wayne Lee, 78, of Shellman passed away Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016, in Oak Grove Cemetery in Americus, Ga., with the Rev. Jim Eubanks officiating.
Mr. Lee was born Jan. 12, 1938, in Dawson, Ga., the son of the late William and Myrtle McPherson Lee. He was a high school graduate and was of the Baptist faith. He was retired from General Telephone Co. as installer and repairman supervisor and also from Quality Gin Co. in Shellman.
Survivors include two sons, Tony (Jill) Lee and Tim Lee,  both of Shellman; a sister, Carol (Jimmy) Bass; three sisters-in-law, Joyce Lee, Virginia Lee and Christine Lee; five  grandchildren Britany Lee, Christina Lee, of Leesburg, Ga., Amber Lee, Zack Lee, and Daylon Lee of Shellman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean McGee Lee; five brothers, W.A. Lee, Cecil Lee, Frank Lee, Mack Lee and Raymond Lee, and five sisters, Lillian Louk, Billie Bridges, Sara Tatum, Patsy McDonald and Jewel Schramm.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016, at Curry Funeral Home, Shellman.
