• Firefighters responded to an alarm on Park Row Extension where they found someone grilling in the back yard and smoke had entered the residence.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident at East Lamar and Tripp streets.
• Firefighters responded to a fuel spill on North Lee Street. They out dry oil on the diesel spill.
• Firefighters responded to Douglas Drive to a report of someone having locked the keys inside a car with a child inside. Upon arrival they found no child inside the car and instructed the woman that they do not unlock vehicles unless life is in danger. They also gave her the name of a wrecker service.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on East Forsyth Street.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on Southerfield Road.

• Jason L. Peeples, 22, of 609 Lewis Lowe Court, Americus is charged with probation violation, and was jailed.

• Firefighters responded to and extinguished a small grass fire at Memorial Mile and McArthur Road.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on Ga. Highway 49 North.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on U.S. Highway 280 West.
• Firefighters responded to a report of a structure fire on Faircloth Road where they found a shorting utility box.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm on Holmes Road which was canceled in route.
