Southland Academy Lower School students celebrated the 100th day of school with great enthusiasm. With teachers incorporating 100 into their academic lesson plans as well as in character development, art, music, Spanish, and physical education, the students relished the accomplishment of reaching the milestone of the 100th day. Displaying the spirit of compassion, students in K4 collected over 100 cans of food, which were donated to the Harvest of Hope Food Pantry. Each of the students has a deep appreciation for reaching and accomplishing a goal, celebrating success, and enjoying fun and creative ways to learn. Shown are Southland Academy second-grade students celebrating the 100th school day with their self-designed t-shirts and their special crowns.
