• Firefighters responded to 31 calls for medical assistance.
• Firefighters responded to a Eastview Circle to a report of smoke coming from an A/C unit. They determined the motor was bad and the breaker was tripped and advised homeowner to contact a repair person.
• Firefighters responded to Brookdale Drive in response to the report of a structure fire. They found a pot left on the stove which they removed, checked the area and ventilated the structure.
• Firefighters responded to an carbon monoxide alarm on North Lee Street. No hazards were found.
• Firefighters responded to Eastview Circle to the report of a possible structure fire. The occupant told them she thought the stove was coming on by itself and she thought it was on fire. They removed the stove and advised her to contact the landlord.
• Firefighters responded to Douglas Circle to the report of a structure fire. They met the occupant on the back porch and were told the stove caught fire. They saw no flames and cut power and ventilated the structure.
• Firefighters responded to Southerfield Road and Crisp Drive to a report of a power line down. They found the line down and arcing. A telephone line was also down and impeding traffic. They blocked traffic until Georgia Power arrived.
