ELLAVILLE — Tommy Pilcher of Ellaville has announced that he  is running for the Georgia House of Representatives for District 138 on the Republican ticket.
Pilcer said that he had currently served as the chairman of the Schley County Board of Education. He said that the Schley County School System is known for its good schools, but his vision is “excellence in all that we do.” Be said that the state would be amazed by the accomplishments hat our children will make in the near future, and he wants to bring this same concept to District 138.
He said that the economy can be made stronger again and the District can become a district of excellence, by creating  a stronger vision and bringing everyone together to change it.
