Americus
New Jerusalem Baptist Church
A Deacon and Deaconess Program is at 3 p.m. April 17 when Pastor Milton Huges of Dublin brings the word. Deacons are asked to dress in black and deaconesses in white. Everyone is invited.

Antioch Baptist Church
A Candlelight March Program starts at 5 p.m. April 10 with the theme “God’s Glory Shining on Us.” The Rev. Justin Johnson brings the message, and everyone is invited.

Greater Cedar Spring Baptist Church
The annual Youth Revival is at 7 p.m. April 11-13 with Minister Trenton Floyd of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church as speaker.

New Ebenezer Baptist Church
The Ushers’ Fellowship program is at 3 p.m. April 17 with the Rev. Ronrica Gordon of Macedonia and New Providence Baptist churches bringing the message. Everyone is invited.

Ellaville
Mount Zion Baptist Church
The Deacon and Deaconess Program is at 10:30 a.m. April 6 during the worship service. The public is invited. The Rev. Eugene Tookes, pastor, brings the holy word.

The Church  International
A Prayer Summit starts at 7 p.m. April 5-8. All are welcome.

Jerusalem Baptist Church
The annual Youth Day Celebration is April 10 with Sunday school at 10 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m. Guest speaker is Minister Colbretta Minter of William Grove Baptist Church, Ellaville. Everyone is invited.

Plains
Bethlehem Baptist Church
The 152nd church anniversary is commemorated at 7 p.m. April 12-14 with the following guest speakers: Tuesday, Bishop Melvin McCluster of Friendship Baptist Church and its choir; Wednesday, Pastor Jamaica Kelly of New Jerusalem Baptist Church and choir; and Thursday, the Rev. J.R. Oglesby of Greater Good Hope Baptist Church and choir. The celebration culminates at 10:45 a.m. April 17 with church pastor, Apostle Charles Carr delivering the message. Dinner will be served. The public is invited.

Smithville
New Hope A.M.E. Church
At 2:30 p.m. April 10, the seventh anniversary of the pastor The Rev. E. X. King and first lady is celebrated with Bishop Melvin McCluster and Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in charge. Dinner will be served. Everyone is invited to both.
