Ranger Mark Shutters from the Georgia Forestry Commission helped Southland first-graders celebrate Arbor Day by planting a Northern Red Oak on the school’s campus. Ranger Brent McCarty, who started this tradition for Southland First Graders, assisted him in the educational presentation.
