AMERICUS — The Sumter County Chamber of Commerce will host a Candidates Forum at 6 p.m. May 17. The forum is designed to provide the citizens of Sumter County an opportunity to hear from the candidates of the contested races for the May 24 Primary Election. The forum will be held in the Auditorium of the Rosalynn Carter Health and Human Services Complex on the campus of Georgia Southwestern State University. The Forum will be moderated by Len Hicks.
