LESLIE — Mrs. Margaret E. Reeves, age 85, of 130 Holley St., Leslie, Ga., died on June 5, 2016, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services. The Rev. Damon Fountain will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10  a.m. until service time on Wednesday.
Mrs. Reeves was born on Nov.  4, 1930, in Brown Town, West Virginia, daughter of the late Scott Ludwick, and the late Rebecca Whetsel Ludwick. Mrs. Reeves was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Bethel Baptist Church in Americus, Ga.
Survivors include her husband, Mr. James Preston Reeves of Leslie, Ga.; two sons, Richard Reeves of Madison, Alabama, and Danny Reeves of Albany, Ga.; one sister, Donna Vecceron and one brother, Robert Kern of Boca Raton, Fla.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Georgia Sheriff’s Boys Ranch, 5671 Ga. Highway 122 E., Hahira GA 31632 or to the Sumter Humane Society, 108 Industrial Blvd., Americus GA 31719.
