AMERICUS – Several local churches will be working together on June 18 to host a “Fired Up Youth Rally” wiffle ball tournament.
The event will be held at the Sumter County Recreation Complex on Highway 19, outside of Americus, beginning at 8:00 a.m.
The tournament will consist of five-person teams, competing for the top prize.
The cost of participation is $50 per team, with all proceeds going towards a Youth Rally concert scheduled to be held at the Storm Dome on Georgia Southwestern State University campus in November.
Early registration is not required, but the event’s organizers ask interested parties to RSVP to the tournament by calling (229)314-1345 or (229)886-7799.
Concessions will be available at the event.
