AMERICUS — Ms. Lottie Jane Holley, age 85, of Americus, Ga., passed away June 11, 2016, at Perfect Care Assisted Living Facility in Americus, Georgia. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2016, in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services. The Rev. Jeff Gossett will officiate. An interment will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be an hour prior to service time from 10-11 a.m., when the service begins. Friends and family are welcome to visit at other times at the residence of Jimmie and Patricia Holley of 114 Honey Suckle Hills Road, Americus, Ga.
Lottie Jane Holley was born Sept. 4, 1930, in Americus, Georgia. Lottie was a graduate of Americus High School in Americus, Ga. She worked as a bookkeeper at Dorsey Welding and Halstead Chevrolet. She was also a self-employed cabinet maker.
She was preceded in death by her father James Allen Holley and her mother Mary Pearl Martin Holley. Survivors include three brothers: Martin Alley Holley and his wife Pat of Spokane, Wash., Bobby William Holley and his wife Doris of Vancouver, Wash., and Jimmy Lewis Holley and his wife Patricia of Americus, Ga., and one sister: Flossie Morris and her husband Herschel of Americus, Ga. Additional survivors include five nieces: Amy Bone, Stephanie Garner, Vicki Holley, Shirley Adkins, and Beverley Mitchell; four nephews: Jim Holley, Robert Herschel Morris, John Michael Morris, and Mike Holley, and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.
