• Firefighters responded to 13 calls for medical assistance.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident at Ga. Highway 27 East and Lamar Street.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident at West Forsyth Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
• Firefighters responded to West Jefferson Street to a report of a power line down. They found that a a power pole had broken and the lines fell on a semi truck and trailer, trapping the driver. Georgia Power was notified to disconnect the line.

• Sarah H. Daughtry, 55, of 103-D Knollwood Drive, Americus is charged with driving on suspended or expired registration, no proof of insurance and driving while license is suspended or revoked.
• Sarah J. Derrington, 26, of 328 Ga. Highway 240 West, Ellaville is charged with criminal trespass.
• Shakevia Durham, 26, of 90-B Parker St., Plains is charged with assault/battery and criminal trespass.
• A juvenile was charged with unruliness on Town Creek Circle.
• Dustin A. Latimer, 36, of 1118 S. Lee St., Americus is charged with DUI.
• Jasmonique M. Lumpkin, 24, of 730 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Americus is charged with driving while license is suspended or revoked (second offense) and child restraint violation.
