Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church
Men Day is celebrated during the 11 a.m. worship service June 26 with Deacon Victor Hall of New Ebenezer Baptist Church as  speaker. The public is invited.

I Heart Church
“Southwest Georgia Got Talent,” for the general public, is at 5 p.m. at 125 Lonnie Lane. All talents are invited to compete. Registration is $25 for single performances, $50 for group performances, and extra for any others. Deadline is July 5. For information call 229-591-3504 or 229-938-8937 and leave message if no answer. Each performance is limited to five minutes. The top five move on the compete for the best act. Free admission; donations accepted.

New Ebenezer Baptist Church
Everyone is invited to the annual Family and Friends Day from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. July 2. Food and drinks provided.

Ellaville
William Grove Baptist Church
Vacation Bible School is 6 p.m. June 21-23 . The public is invited.

Plains
Bethlehem Baptist Church
The annual mission program is at 10:45 a.m. Sunday with Sister Gwen Wright as speaker. Everyone is invited.

St. Mark A.M.E. Church
Everyone is invited to revival services at 7:30 p.m. through June 22. The Rev. Melvin McCluster delivers the sermon  Sunday; the Rev. George Edge, Monday; the Rev. Norris Harris, Tuesday and the Rev. Hosie Waters, Wednesday.

Smithville
New Hope A.M.E. Church
Annual revival services are at 7:30 p.m. June 27-30 with the Rev. Jerome Jones of New Ebenezer and Cool Spring Baptist churches bringing the message. Everyone is welcome.
The annual Back to School Rally is from 10 a.m.-noon July 23 when school supplies will be given to all children in the community.
