In Area Beat, it was reported that Stephen Fripp, 31, of 114 Claude Fripp Road, Ellaville had been charged with driving while expired or no registration or title by the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. Fripp was not charged but was given a warning. The records department of the sheriff’s office is taking steps to avoid this type of error to occur in the future.
