Calvary Episcopal Church
Celebrate the Fourth of July with great barbecue. The Calvary Episcopal Men’s Club hosts ts annual Barbecue Sale Fundraiser from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. July 2 at the church. Proceeds used to further the local efforts of Club. Whole Boston butts available by pre-order only (deadline June 28) for $30 each. Pounds of fresh pulled pork barbecue are $8; pork or chicken barbecue dinner plates for $8. Pounds and plates available for purchase the day of the sale on a first come, first served basis if you don’t pre-order.

Rylander Theatre
“Through Her Eyes: Stories from the Women of the Bible” is brought to the stage by the Colquitt-Miller Arts Council, producers of “Swamp Gravy,” at 7 p.m. Aug. 20 at the Rylander. Greater Cedar Springs Missionary Baptist Church
The annual revival services conclude at 7:30 p.m. June 29 with the Rev. Michael White of Litman Cathedral House of God’s Saints in Christ as speaker.

New Corinth Baptist Church
The Sunday school department hosts Vacation Bible School from 5-7 p.m. July 5-7, culminating on July 8 with a cookout and fun activities.
Prayer services are at 7:30 p.m. July 6 & 7.
The annual revival is held at 7:30 p.m. July 11-15 with the Rev. W.G. Grover as evangelist for the week. Everyone is invited.

New Ebenezer Baptist Church
Everyone is invited to the annual Family and Friends Day from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. July 2. Food and drinks provided.

Andersonville
St. Paul A.M.E. Church
The 19th anniversary of the pastor, the Rev. Norris Harris, is celebrated at 2:30 p.m. July 10 with Pastor Gerald Harris speaking. Dinner will be served. Everyone is welcome.

Smithville
New Hope A.M.E. Church
Annual revival services are at 7:30 p.m. through June 30 with the Rev. Jerome Jones of New Ebenezer and Cool Spring Baptist churches bringing the message.
The annual Back to School Rally is from 10 a.m.-noon July 23 when school supplies will be given to all children in the community.
