Congressional representatives to hold Open Office Day in Macon County

MONTEZUMA — U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., has announced that Andrew Ross, his field representative for Macon County and the surrounding area, will hold an open office day for constituents from 10 a.m.-noon July 13 at the the Macon County Chamber of Commerce, 109 N. Dooly St., Montezuma, in conjunction with Kathy Burns, representative for U.S. Senator David Perdue, R-Ga., and Michelle Sands, representative for U.S. Representative Sanford Bishop, D-Ga.-2.
Isakson encourages constituents to come talk with his representative about any issues concerning the federal government, federal legislation or federal agencies, such as Veterans Affairs, the IRS, Medicare or Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services.
“This open office day will help ensure that the views, concerns and local efforts of all Georgians are reflected in the operation of our office,” said Isakson.
As a representative for Isakson, Ross is responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities in his region and acting as a representative for Isakson when he is unable to personally attend events in the area.
