Campbell Chapel A.M.E. Church

Youth Revival services are at 7 p.m. July 26-28 with the Rev. Christopher Carter of Fort Valley United Methodist Church as speaker, and culminating with Youth Day at 2 p.m. July 31.

Salem United Methodist Church

The Tribute Quartet appears in concert at 6 p.m. July 23. The Tribute Quartet has become, in just 10 years, one of the most dynamic and best loved male quartets in the country. Admission is free; love offering will be taken.

Healing Temple Ministries

First lady Stacey Sims-Kelly’s birthday celebration is at 4 p.m. July 31. Groups appearing will be The Anointed Voices of Americus, The Sons of Gospel of Montezuma, Brothers of Harmony of Dothan, Alabama, Vincent Wilson & New Breed of Columbus, and Liza & The Voices of Faith of Montgomery, Alabama.

Mount Salem Baptist

The annual Mission Day is observed at 11 a.m. July 24 with Pastor Georgia Deriso of Freedom Harvest Worship Center, Leslie, as speaker.

New Ebenezer Baptist Church

Family and Friends Day is observed at 3 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. E. X. King, and New Hope, St. Paul, and Sand Hill A.M.E. churches are on the program. Everyone is invited.

New Jerusalem Baptist Church

All area churches are invited to a “Fruit of the Spirit” program at 2:30 p.m. July 24.

Annual revival services are at 7 p.m. Aug. 1-4 with Pastor Tony Smith of Beulah Baptist Church, Dawson, and Hopewell Baptist, Albany as the revivalist.

New St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church

Annual revival service are at 7 p.m. Aug. 2-4 with the Rev. Eugene Bush as speaker.
A Homecoming celebration is at 11 a.m. Aug. 7 with Pastor Michael Walker bringing the message. Sunday school begins at 10 a.m.

Perry B Grove Baptist Church

The 87th church anniversary is observed Sunday during the 11 a.m. worship service when Bishop Alfred Rushin brings the message.  Sunday school begins at 10 a.m. Dinner will be served.

Kingdom of Heaven Ministries Inc.

Sons & Daughters Revival services start at 7 p.m. July 18-20 when dons and daughters of the house will bring the word each night. The public is invited.

New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church

The annual Mission Program is celebrated during the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday  with Treny Hall Brown of Brown’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Montezuma, as guest speaker.

Union Oak Grove Baptist Church

Annual revival services are at 7:30 p.m. July 18-22 with the Rev. Kenneth Zackery Jr. as speaker. Regular worship is at 11:30 a.m. July 24.


Ebenezer Baptist Church

Youth revival services are at 7:30 p.m. July 20-22. Everyone is invited.


Jackson Grove Baptist Church

Men and Women Day is observed at 11 a.m. Sunday when Deacon Charles Holt of Spring Creek brings the message for the men and Minister Pamela Hagan of True Power Ministry for the women. Colors are black and yellow.


Bethlehem Baptist Church

Guest Day is observed Sunday with Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. followed by worship at 10:45 a.m. Everyone is invited.

Lebanon Baptist Church

Annual revival services are at 7 p.m. July 18-22 with the Rev. Marcus Gibson of New Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Columbus as guest evangelist.

St. Mark A.M.E. Church

The church’s 146th  anniversary is celebrated during the 11 a.m. worship service on July 24. Dinner will be served. Everyone is invited.


New Hope A.M.E. Church

The annual Back to School Rally is from 10 a.m.-noon July 23. School supplies will be donated to all children in the community. Refreshments will be served. Sunundria Rivers, Bibb County educator and Smithville native is guest speaker. Call Kim Page at 229-364-2970 for details.
