Household of Faith Ministries

A Multi-Family Indoor Yard Sale is from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Aug. 6 by the fellowship hall on 1607 Armory Drive, Americus.

Campbell Chapel A.M.E. Church

Youth Revival services are at 7 p.m. July 26-28 with the Rev. Christopher Carter of Fort Valley United Methodist Church as speaker, and culminating with Youth Day at 2 p.m. July 31.

Salem United      Methodist Church

The Tribute Quartet appears in concert at 6 p.m. July 23. The Tribute Quartet has become, in just 10 years, one of the most dynamic and best loved male quartets in the country. Admission is free; love offering will be taken.

Healing Temple       Ministries

First lady Stacey Sims-Kelly’s birthday celebration is at 4 p.m. July 31. Groups appearing will be The Anointed Voices of Americus, The Sons of Gospel of Montezuma, Brothers of Harmony of Dothan, Alabama, Vincent Wilson & New Breed of Columbus, and Liza & The Voices of Faith of Montgomery, Alabama.

The 107th church anniversary is celebrated at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 2-4, with the following speakers: Aug. 2, the Rev. John Thomas and Calvary Baptist Church, Richland; Aug.  3, the Rev. James Hill and Zion Hill Baptist Church, Leslie; Aug. 4, the Rev. Shirley Strawder and St. John and St. Mark A.M.E. churches, Plains. The celebration concludes at 11 a.m. Aug. 7 with Pastor Michael Edge bringing the message. The public is invited.

Preston

Mount Zion Webster Missionary Baptist Church

Homecoming services will be held on Sunday, July 24. Sunday school begins at 10:00 a.m., followed by Homecoming services at 11:00 a.m.
The guest minister will be former member, Rev. Willie Greene, pastor of Forest Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of Dooly County.
