Mark Hodge Crawford, age 57, of 402 Rigas Rd., Americus, died Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. A native of Atlanta, he was born March 12, 1959, the son of late John Rueben and Sara Frances Crawford. Mr. Crawford was a member of Christian Fellowship Church where he was a youth leader.  He was a former Boy Scout Troop Leader of Troop # 27. Mr. Crawford was a Master Plumber and employed at Albany Technical College as a Plumbing Instructor.

Services will be held Saturday, August 6, 2016, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel with Rev. Earl Dunmon officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, August 5, 2016, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Christian Fellowship Church, 1850 S. Lee St., Americus, GA  31709 or to American Diabetes Association, Atlanta GA Office,17 Executive Park, Suite 115, Atlanta, Ga.  30329-2012.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Terri Crawford of Americus; a daughter, Sarah Anne Hodge Crawford of Macon; a son, Ben Hodge Crawford of Americus; a brother and sister-in-law, John Ruben Crawford, Jr. and Sheila Ricketts Crawford of Dahlonega; a mother and father-in-law, Benny and Anne White of Americus; a brother-in-law, James White of Americus; and a niece, Leah Crawford. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Michael Crawford and a nephew, Jacob Crawford.
