LESLIE — Ruby Kaye Magee, age 59, of 1283 Usry Road, Leslie, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2016, at her residence. A native of Sanford, N.C., she was born July 6, 1957. Mrs. Magee was a member of Leslie United Methodist Church, a 15-year veteran of the United States Air Force, a member of the USGA and an avid golfer.

 

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016, at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel and at other times the family residence, 1283 Usry Road, Leslie. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016, at Leslie City Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Tucker officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to The Sumter Humane Society, 108 Industrial Blvd., Americus GA  31719.

Survivors include her husband of 25 years, George Magee of Leslie; three daughters and son-in-law, Bridgette Hash of Columbus, Shea and Jimmy Webb of Jupiter, Fla., and Stacie Magee of Jupiter, Fla.; a son, J.C. Arrington of Dallas, Texas; her mother, Louise Jackson of Sanford, N.C.; and  two grandchildren, Bria Webb and Ryan Johnson. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Eric Hall and Johnnie Jackson.
