• Firefighters responded to South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to an alarm. No hazards were found.
• Firefighters responded to Lindsey Lane to a report of a possible structure fire. There was no fire but the occupant was advised to contact an electrician.
• Firefighters responded to North Jackson Street to a carbon monoxide alarm. No hazards were found.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on North Lee Street.
• Firefighters stood by at Americus Sumter High School for a scrimmage.
• Firefighters stood by at Southland Academy for a football game.
