Phoebe Sumter hosts 13th annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk Saturday in downtown

AMERICUS — Phoebe Sumter Medical Center will host its 13th annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk on Saturday, Oct. 15 at Lenny’s Farmer Market, which is located at 110 N. Hampton St. in downtown Americus.
Registration is at 8 a.m., and the walk begins at 9 a.m. The walk will again have three routes, each beginning and ending at Lenny’s. There is no fee for the walk.
Breast cancer awareness shirts can be purchased at the Phoebe Sumter hostess desk, and there will be shirts for sale the day of the walk while supplies last. Shirts sizes up to adult XL are $10, sizes XXL and 3X are $12 and size 4X are $15 each. You do not have to purchase a shirt to participate in the walk.
