AMERICUS — The Americus Police Department (APD) made three arrests on the night of Sunday, Oct. 16 at 1101 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., stemming from an attempted robbery.
According to a press release from the APD, those arrested were a female and two males: Juqrion Mathis, 19, of 118 Redrick St., Americus;

Andredus B. Cromity, 21, of 1505-A Crawford St., Americus; and

Kentrell Deriso

Kentrell Deriso

Kentrell R. Deriso, 21, of 405-B Academy St., Americus were each charged with criminal attempt to commit felony robbery and aggravated assault. Mathis was also charged with misdemeanor failure to appear in court for a finger printable charge.
The three were jailed at the Sumter County Jail.
