The day concluded with a formal dinner and a national award recognizing “Leadership in Caregiving” as well as the Georgia Caregivers of the Year.

President Jimmy Carter surprised guests at Friday night’s Gala Awards Banquet and delivered a short speech. ‘The Rosalynn Carter Institute has programs all over the United States,’ he sstated. ‘We need to have their valuable services in every community.’
