Sumter BOE approves land purchase for proposed high school

At tonight’s Board of Education (BOE) meeting, the Sumter BOE voted to purchase approximately 440 acres from Americus Sumter PDA for the new high school at $3850 per acre. The property is located across southerfield road from South Georgia Technical College.
