Eight Americus-Sumter High School students were chosen as Students of the Month for October. Principal Kimothy Hadley presented the students with awards in a small ceremony recently as parents looked on. After a brief speech from Hadley, each student was presented with a plaque. The celebration included refreshments and a chance for teachers to mingle with students and parents. Friends, relatives and community members were also in attendance.
