AMERICUS — Gladys Beatrice Pritchard Roach, age 86, of Americus, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. A native of North Carolina, she was born Aug. 12, 1930, to the late Willie Otis Pritchard and Emma Lee Jump Pritchard. She was a member of Cheek Memorial Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Americus. The Rev. Steven Hill will officiate the service. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016, at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel in Americus.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Victor and Charlotte Roach of Americus; a brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Nancy Pritchard of Woodstock, Conn.; and a sister and brother-in-law, Geraldine and Douglas Usry of Ellaville. Also surviving are two grandchildren: Vicki and Chris Parker, and Heather Roach; and three great-grandchildren: Erin Parker, Jacob Jordan, and Madison Jordan.
