Arrests
• Gedonna G. Carey, 49, of Covington is charged with misdemeanor deposit account fraud, and was jailed.
• Michael A. Carter, 19, of 109 Melony Lane, Americus is charged with giving false name/address or birth date to law enforcement officers, obstruction of law enforcement officers, and driving while license is suspended or revoked. Charges were dismissed.
• Alvin Dunn, 67, of Oglethorpe is charged with violation of terms of drug court, and was released to another jail.
• Robert R. Fountain, 48, of 296 Howard Johnson Road, Americus is charged with theft by receiving stolen property, and was released on bond.
• Christopher M. Garry, 26, of 143 Pecan Terrace, Americus is charged with probation violation, and was jailed.
• Melissa D. Gutierrez, 39, of 216 Brown Road, Ellaville is charged with misdemeanor theft of lost or mislaid property, and was released on bond.
• Robert J. Harbuck, 25, of 447 Brady Road, Americus is charged with DUI, and was jailed.
• Shaunya N. Harris, 18, of 302 Brookdale Drive, Americus is charged with criminal trespass, battery, and second-degree criminal damage to property, and was jailed.
• Charles E. Hooper, 41, of 708-A U.S. Highway 19 South, Americus is charged with terroristic threats and acts, and was jailed.
• Sam H. Jackson, 58, of 424 New St., Americus is charged with criminal trespass, obstructing or hindering persons making emergency telephone call, and simple battery (Family Violence Act), and was jailed.
• Dantrell D. Jordan, 21, of 1529 Hooks Mill Road, Leslie is charged with probation violation, and was released.
• Rashieka L. Leverett, 27, of 1215 N. Lee St., Americus is charged with speeding (66 mph in a 55 zone), failure to maintain lane, DUI, and open container, and was released on bond.
• Warren C. Lewis, 23, of 112 Mayfire Drive, Americus is charged with probation violation, and was jailed.
• Stephen G. McClendon, 29, of 146 Ebenezer Road, Ellaville is charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, crossing state/county guard line with weapons/intoxicants/drugs without consent, and probation violation, and was jailed.
• Julian W. Myers, 29, of 638 Ebenezer Road, Ellaville is charged with DUI, and was released on bond.
• Jon C. Pate, 17, of Richland is charged with driving under the influence of drugs and following too closely, and was released on bond.
