MILLEDGEVILLE — Mr. Gerald Lee Calhoun, 70, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017. Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 27, 2017, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Americus, Ga., with the Rev. Paul Gardner officiating.

 

Mr. Calhoun was a native of Americus and has lived in Milledgeville for 30-plus years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Orvy Calhoun and Freddie Ion Brown Calhoun; and a brother, Dewayne Calhoun. He was a veteran of the United States Army and worked as a carpenter.
