Eight counties are joining together for one cause — to promote healthy hearts! The #PhoebeHeartWalk is Saturday, Feb. 11 at seven different locations, including the Sumter County Regional Park, 741 U.S. Highway 19 South, Americus. Registration is 8-8:45 a.m. and the walk/run starts at 9 a.m. Dr. Raj Venkatesh, Phoebe Sumter Medical Center’s cardiologist speaks at the Sumter location.

Each participating site (Sumter, Dooly, Macon, Marion, Schley, Stewart-Webster, and Taylor counties) will give out a trophy to the organization (church, workgroup, family, etc.) that has the most walkers, so encourage your colleagues to attend!
