ELLAVILLE — CCRPI is a comprehensive school improvement, accountability, and communication platform for all educational stakeholders that promotes college and career readiness for all Georgia public school students. The acronym stands for College and Career Ready Performance Index. This index reflects performance in areas such as school climate, financial efficiency, achievement, and graduation rate.
Each school in the Schley County School System ranks in the top 20 (out of 181 systems) in overall achievement: Schley County Elementary is eighth, Schley County Middle is 11th, and Schley County High School is 19th. Overall, the system is ranked number 12 in the state with a CCRPI score of 84.2. The State average is 73.6. The RESA (our 15-county area) average is 63.8.
Another notable system ranking includes that of third for financial efficiency.
Each school stands out individually, as well.

Overall CCRPI scores are in the top 15 percent for the elementary school, the top 16 percent for the middle school, and the top 32 percent for the high school.
Schley County’s graduation rate has remained over 90 percent for the last two years. Adam Hathaway, the system’s superintendent, credits his hard-working staff, students, and parents.
“Our relentless pursuit of our motto, ‘Excellence in All We Do,’ has created a winning atmosphere in our schools and community,”he said. “We will continue to strive for excellence in all facets of our system.”
