AMERICUS – The Dayspring Trio will be performing in a free concert at Andrew Chapel, US 19 just north of the Schley County line, on Feb. 26 at 6:00 p.m.
There is no charge for the event but a love offering will be taken.
The Dayspring Trio is an award-winning southern gospel trio from Americus, GA. Their polished vocals and tight harmonies have been compared to the likes of the Booth Brothers and Greater Vision. Despite their relative young ages, these young men have been singing together for over a decade and a half.
They sing primarily at churches, community events and wherever else they are invited. They have even had the privilege of singing in front of former President Jimmy Carter at Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains, GA. The Dayspring Trio does not charge a fee for their services, instead relying on the generous donations of those in attendance to meet their financial needs.
They have released multiple CDs which are also available free of charge on a donation basis and provide free copies of the New Testament to anyone who needs one.
A recent press release regarding the event stated, “If you are looking for a time of fun and laughter that is centered around a sound gospel message and the worship of our Lord Jesus Christ, then come join the Dayspring Trio as they sing and make melody in their hearts to the Lord.”
