AMERICUS — Mary Wyvone Moore, 81, of Americus, died Monday, Feb. 20, 2017, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. She was born Aug. 2, 1935, in Jay, Fla., to the late Bruce Dobson and Ruth Burgess Dobson. She moved from Lizella to Americus in 1993, and was a member of Central Baptist Church and former member of Sherwood Baptist in Albany.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at Central Baptist Church in Americus.  The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church. Dr. Brian Myers and Dr. Pete Sharber will officiate the service.

Survivors include her husband Mickey Ashley Moore; daughter, Sherri Lynn Taylor (Dr. Neill O. Taylor); son, Darin Ashley Moore (Geoffery Buchheim;) five grandchildren: Alyssa Hood (Markus Hood,) Lara Sullens (Lee Sullens,) Dr. James Taylor, Joel Buchheim Moore, and Adam Buchheim Moore. Also surviving are three great-grandchildren: Braden Sullens, Madison Sullens, and Daniel Hood; a brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Nellie Ray Dobson; a sister-in-law, Deborah Dobson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lee and Lara Sullens Mission Fund, c/o Central Baptist Church, 190 Upper River Road, Americus GA 31709.
