Warren Alford, pastor of Victory Worship Center, 114 Columbia Ave., Americus, preaches brotherhood and has made it a reality within the church. The congregation came together to honor God and celebrate the 2017 New Year as one in Christ. More than 50 years ago, (Dec. 18, 1963) Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. made this observation: ‘The most segregated place in this nation is 11:00 am on Sunday morning.’ God has broken barriers at Victory Worship Center whereby the congregation fellowships in unity from 10:30-noon Sundays.
