AMERICUS – Sumter Cycling will be holding their annual meeting on March 13 at Café Campesino’s downtown location in Americus at 6:30 p.m.
According to a recent press release, the community is invited to hear the latest on the organization’s cycling initiatives in Sumter County.
The press release states, “We’re working on cycling programs that will make our community an even more attractive place to live or visit. Learn how you can be a part of this… Join us during the Sumter Cycling Annual Meeting and tell us what you think about walking and bicycling in Americus.”
Sumter Cycling is working in collaboration with the River Valley River Commission to develop a bicycling and pedestrian plan for the City of Americus, and is requesting the community’s feedback.
A chili dinner will be served at the meeting.
