No snow? No problem!

No snow? No problem! All you have to do is use your imagination! When the recent possibility of snow in the forecast diminished, pre-K students in Heather Harmon’s class at Schley County Primary School didn’t let that spoil the fun. During large group time, students used paper plates to ice skate. Afterward, they decided a snowball fight could only add to the fun. While this may seem like just fun and games, students were also learning valuable skills while participating in these wintry activities. In addition to following a series of oral directions during each activity, students had to demonstrate various large motor skills. When the snow fun concluded, students made a group graph to see who had/had not played in real snow and then analyzed the results. These pre-k students are hoping snow will be in the forecast again very soon!
