On April 5, eight Americus-Sumter High School students were honored as Student of the Month for February 2017. Principal Kimothy Hadley presented the students with awards in a small ceremony at the high school as parents looked on. After a brief speech from Hadley, each student was presented with a plaque. The celebration included refreshments and a chance for teachers to mingle with students and parents. Friends, relatives and community members were also in attendance.
