According to the press release, the South Georgia Panthers Football and Cheer Club is a competitive travel football and cheerleading organization that enables boys and girls with a passion for football and cheer to improve their skills throughout the year. South Georgia Panthers Football and Cheer Club is affiliated with the Peach State Conference, a member of the United Youth Football League (UYFL). Players are trained by a coaching staff that has many years of experience at all levels of play.
“Our goal is not only for our boys and girls to further develop their skills, but also to build self-esteem while learning about sportsmanship, teamwork, and responsibilities,” the press release continued. “Participation is open to each and every student-athlete, regardless of financial status. Players are expected to be dedicated to their team, by maintaining a high attendance level for all team events (practice, tournaments, meetings, etc), giving maximum efforts at all times, and respecting and supporting their teammates and coaches… We look forward to helping these players grow on the field and off the field.”
