Sumter County Middle School Student of the Month Celebration was held May 4 for April/May. Students were selected by their homeroom teacher and a written document was written describing why the student was chosen. The students received a certificate and a school lanyard. The students and their guests enjoyed a delicious breakfast of sausage, chicken tenders, grits, eggs, fruit and drink. Seventh-grade students are Kaliey Garcia, Kason Hodges, Amiya Jenkins, Beauty Heights, James Blaisdell-Ndaayezwi, Chassidy Vance, Isaiah Chandler, Jesus Rodriguez, Ty’quan Robinson, and Alquiana Terry. Eighth-grade students are A’lajha Reynolds, Shania Smith, Nanette Smith, Karen Parra, Zyquez Waters, S’Aalliyha Terry, Karlon Styles, Toby Wilson, Jazmine Johnson, Braylon Roberts, and Deterrius Joiner.
