The Georgia State Patrol Post 10 investigated a crash at U.S. Highway 19 South and McLittle Bridge Road shortly after 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. According to the accident report, a Mazda CX-5 SUV, driven by Riley H. Caldwell, 17, of Albany pulled onto 19 heading south from McLittle Bridge and then pulled into the lane of a Kenworth tow truck owned by Wilson Truck Service Inc. of Americus which she said she did not see. Caldwell is charged with improper turn/improper lane change. There were no injuries. There have been two other accidents reported in that same area in recent weeks.
