ELLAVILLE, Ga. — Mrs. Sandra Gentry Law, age 74, of Americus, Ga., died Friday, June 16, 2017 at her residence. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 19, 2017, at County Line Baptist Church cemetery.

Mrs. Law was born Feb. 18, 1943, in Reynolds, Ga., the daughter of Arthur James Gentry and Clara Bell Barfield Gentry.  Mrs. Law retired as an assistant director of nursing at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Albany. She had numerous hobbies and talents and loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Law was a member of Herod Baptist Church in Dawson, Ga.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip and Kelly Law of Blakely, Ga., Wade and Diane Law of Americus, Ga., Dr. Bret and Anna Law of Americus, Ga.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Darlene Gentry of Clermont, Fla., Donald and Ruby Gentry of Rock Springs, Ga. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Haley Leverette and husband Dillon, Masey Waller, Katelyn Law, Wade Hampton Law, Caleb Law and Elizabeth Law. Mrs. Law was preceded in death by her husband, Phillips Earl Law Sr.
