AMERICUS — Harvard Business School Club of Atlanta (HBSCA) awarded scholarships to nonprofit leaders in Georgia to attend Executive Education in Social Enterprise at Harvard this summer. Alison Evans, CEO of The Methodist Home, was the recipient of one of the scholarships.
“I am humbled to learn the Harvard Business Club of Atlanta will invest in a full scholarship for me to attend Harvard this summer,” said Evans. “I will join 139 other nonprofit CEOs from around the world for this week-long, intensive educational experience called Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management. I am so grateful for the scholarship coordinator, Ed Shartar, and all the HBSCA members who supported my application for this exciting opportunity,” said Evans.
The mission of the Harvard Business School is to educate leaders who make a difference in the world. The Selection Committee had sixteen applicants for the scholarships and narrowed it down to four leaders who will be awarded classes at Harvard this summer.
