PLAINS — Barbara Crawley West, age 70, of Americus, died at Lillian Carter Nursing Home Wednesday, July 19, 2017. A native of Americus, she was born Aug. 26, 1946, the daughter of the late Jackson and Mamie Crawley. Mrs. West enjoyed reading and being with her family. She was self-employed for many years.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2017, at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel.

Survivors include her daughter, Amanda L. West of Americus; and three grandchildren, Jennifer West, Destiny West and Aaron West all of Americus. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Cole West.
