THEODORE, Ala. — Angela Wheeler, daughter of the late Rubye Bass Snider and Jimmie Lowe Snider, died July 26, 2017, in Theodore, Alabama, at the home of her daughter, surrounded by family. She was born on Jan. 16, 1943. in Atlanta, Georgia. Angela graduated from Druid Hills High School and worked in various clerical positions in Atlanta, Houston, and Midland, Texas. In her last position before retiring she served as a bus driver for DeKalb County School System. She was an active member of Briarcliff United Methodist Church, and served and participated in virtually all of the church’s activities. Angela was beloved by friends, family and all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Denise Lloyd; grandchildren, Heather Holden Eastin and D. J. Holden; her brother, Jimmie Snider; her sister, and brother-in-law, Synthia Snider Foskey and Charles, and nephews, Mark, David, and Tim Foskey and Collin Snider.

A celebration of Angela’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017, at Briarcliff United Methodist Church.
