- MICHAEL MURRAY I ATR: Local golf enthusiast, Josh Blankenship hit a hole in one on hole number 11 at the Griffin Bell Golf and Conference Center on Sept. 17 in Americus. Blankenship told the Times-Recorder that he struck the impeccably-placed shot with a nine iron. Witnesses to the hole in one were Rusty Cheek, Nathan Mathis, and Michael Murray.
