GRIFFIN — Katherine Renee Stewart, 46, of Griffin, Ga., formerly of Albany, Ga., died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017, at Spalding Regional Medical Center.  Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Mathews Funeral Home. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate. Entombment will follow at Crown Hill Mausoleum.

Katherine was born in Sumter County, Ga., to the late Charles Stewart and Nancy Stewart Scoggins. She lived in Albany since 1977, and was a graduate of Dougherty County High School. She owned and operated an antiques and collectibles mall called Memories, in Cordele, Ga. She later created a virtual mall called uniquejewelryfinder by Kathie Stewart, where she created and sold unique jewelry.

Katherine was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Joyce Scoggins; her father, Charles Evan Stewart and her brother, Charles Evan Stewart Jr.

Survivors include her daughter, Erika Renee Zickefoose and son-in-law, Morris Hayes of Griffin, Ga.; two sons, John Anthony Zickefoose Jr. of Belton, Texas, Christopher Zickefoose and daughter-in-law, Samantha Goodman of Griffin, Ga.; five grandchildren, Brianna Timbes, Morris Timbes, Morrissa Hayes, Christopher Hayes, and Erionna Zickefoose; a niece, Santannia Faite Stewart; a nephew, Charles Evan Stewart III; uncle and aunt, Pete and Teresa Quintanilla of Smithville, Ga.; a cousin Brandon Quintanilla of Smithville, Ga.; and a sister, Tonya Stewart of Leesburg, Ga.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at Mathews Funeral Home.
