NEWNAN — Lynn Hightower Davidson, 69, of Newnan, formerly of Americus, passed away on Monday, Sept. 25, 2017, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born March 15, 1948. in Orangeburg, S.C., to the late Rev. Edward Hightower and Mary Kemp Hightower.
Lynn and her husband, Ed, lived in Americus, Ga., for many years where they were active members of Central Baptist Church. They moved to Newnan in 1999, to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
The memorial service is at noon Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017, in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St., Newnan, Ga., with the Rev. Hugh DeLoach officiating. The family will greet friends beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday. Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions can be made to Compassus Hospice, 145 Howard Lane, Fayetteville GA 30215.
