Americus-Sumter High School celebrated ‘National Custodian Appreciation Week’ recently with an informal ceremony in the school lobby. The custodians received gift bags and a word of thanks from assistant principal, Todd Vickery. Vickery thanked the group for their contribution for maintaining a clean school environment. ‘We appreciate each of you for all the work you put in every day, and for going beyond what’s called of you,’ he said.
