Americus-Sumter High School celebrated Bosses Day on Monday with a brief, informal ceremony hosted by the school’s front office staff. Principal Kimothy Hadley and assistant principals, Todd Vickery and Marnie Dutcher, were all on hand to receive gifts and share a cake baked especially for the occasion. Bosses Day has been celebrated across the country since 1958,  as a day for employees to thank their bosses for being kind and fair throughout the year, and for the purpose of strengthening bonds between employers and employees.
